Saffron soup with fruit and chilli

Ingredients

400 ml apple juice
100 ml white wine
50 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
100-150 ml Dansukker Cane Sugar
1/4 g saffron
1 tsp finely diced red chilli
2 tbsp Calvados (optional)
Fruit and/or berries, according to the season

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except for the fruit/berries and Calvados in a pan and bring to the boil. Allow to cool, then refrigerate. The soup should be served chilled. Add the fruit/berries to the soup and divide between glasses or bowls. Serve with biscuits, cookies or rusks.
