Root vegetable marmalade with thyme

Root vegetables can be used for almost anything. This tasty root vegetable marmalade with thyme is delicious with barbecued foods in the summer. Try making the marmalade from vegetables that you particularly like.

Ingredients

500 g root vegetables of your choice
2 tbsp water
3-4 tbsp vinegar 12%
250 g Dansukker Jam Sugar
1 tbsp fresh thyme

Instructions

Peel and grate the root vegetables using a grater. Boil with the water and vinegar in a pan for 3 minutes. Mix with a mixer and add the sugar and thyme.

Boil for a further 4 minutes. Skim off any foam and pour the jam into hot, thoroughly cleaned jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.
